    5x7 speaker does not fit stock 5x7 location

    You need a hole at least 5 1/8" x 7 1/4" inches to install this speaker. Anything smaller and it won't fit. Check your application--many stock 5x7 mount locations will have a hole smaller than 5" x 7".

    This is not a true 5x7

    This is advertised as a 5x7. Nothing was said about it being a 6x8. When it arrived the packaging lists it as a 5x7 / 6x8.

    My car will not take a 6x8 size So I cannot use this speaker. The 6x8 sticks out just enough not to allow the oem speaker grill to fit.
