Installed in a 2014 VW Sportwagen. I have had no previous experience with Boss Audio. I have to say I am impressed. I installed the radio myself and everything went smooth. The radio sounds really good and Android Auto is working flawlessly. Great radio at this price point.

I purchased this product mainly for its price. Despite initial doubts about its quality, it has been functioning well for a few months and I am satisfied with it. The user interface is not ideal and the customer support is lacking. I anticipated that the push button volume control would become tedious, and it has. However, overall, I would still consider buying it again.

In my 2013 Tahoe, I was eager for wireless Apple CarPlay, but found the unit's wireless connectivity to be unreliable. While Bluetooth is available for phone features, CarPlay requires a specific wireless feature. Despite occasional issues, newer models like the 2022 Silverado seem to have perfected wireless CarPlay functionality.
