This has to be the best aftermarket Radio I have owned. It fits perfectly in my 2003 Nissan Frontier. I used the factory radio brackets. Unlike other units I tried, all of the mounting holes line up perfectly! I used a Metra wire harness adapter which made this installation a breeze. Great features, and great sound. Not sure who needs the remote, when the dash is right in front of you. But, overall, great radio, and great price.
I rebuild old project SUVs as a hobby. I generally have to replace the factory radio with something more modern to make the vehicles more desirable, so I do 4-5 a year. I'm a stickler for details and doing things right, so I solder and heatshrink all connections. Nothing more frustrating than spending an hour putting together the brand-specific wiring harness only to find out that the head unit is an $80 paper weight. Boss products have done this to me 3 times now. Not again. I've had better luck with no-brand units from Walmart.
