Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.
Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?
The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").

Very Impressive
I purchased a 2016 Sonata Hybrid. It was the base model and the sound system needed help. Besides installing a subwoofer and Boss amp and replacing all the door speakers, I purchased the TW17 to replace the front corner dash tweeters. I ended up mounting in the existing tweeter frames. All I can say is WOW! Because of the 103db sensitivity rating, you got to turn the treble or upper end of your EQ down. I run my base and treble perfectly flat now. They bring a lot of brilliance to the upper end which can be overwhelming if you don't "tame" it. I'm running the existing stock radio and my setup rivals systems with very high end audio in them. You do not need crossover networks as there are one's already integrated. These are Impedance is 4 ohms and response is 5 kHz to 20 kHz, ±1 dB. These are polyimide dome ferrite magnet tweeters. Not to be confused with piezo's which have a piezoelectric crystal and mechanical diaphragm.

These tweeterslook and sound great. You get a large attractive tweeter with every mounting option you could think of.
These are way, way nicer than I thought they would be. The mounting options are Top Quality and incredibly versatile. I own so many different brands of tweeters of highest to cheapest quality, and I can easily say these can compare to any of them. Tweeters are funny in comparison as you may get great satisfying sound out of almost any tweeter in my opinion. Just pay attention to your mounting location being optimal. These in particular did not need to be on axis to sound great. I'm impressed with everything about these tweeters except for the big corny name brand in bright red on the lip of the flush mount assembly which may turn some people off. Just paint them before you assemble them and you can take pride in your new install. I will be buying more of these.
