Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.
Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?
The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").
Just installed yesterday and very pleased so far. Major upgrade from factory Toyota front speakers. Rich clean sound and kicking lows. Hoping they withstand the test of time and sound even better when broken in. Will update review after a couple months of use. Now on to the back deck upgrade. Thanks Boss Audio !!!!

These are ok
The sound wasnt what i expected at all. I needed new speakers for my car cause my was busted so i ordered these cause it had pretty good reviews, But they are not as good as everyone is making them out to be, The sound is not that good at all. It is fine with me right now cause i have three kids so i can listen to the radio that loud anyways, But if you are looking for some speakers that are loud these are not the ones for you.

For the money, I can't believe how good these things actually sound!
May others have said it, so I will be brief. I cannot believe how well these sound compared to how much they cost. I'm correctly building a "toy" that I am being very frugal on as it's for 4-wheeling. I just wanted something that wasn't blown like the stock speakers. Read the reviews, glad I listed. Please don't try to compare these to Infinity/Kicker/Memphis or even Kenwood or Pioneer, but at <60% of the cost, they are AWESOME and exactly what I needed.
