California Prop 65 Warning

What is Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.

There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.

Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?

The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").

Perfect fit for 2016 Toyota Sienna

Just had this installed in our 2016 Toyota Sienna LE. It has a gray interior and the gray skin matches perfectly. The unit has a solid feel to it and the remote is easy to use and responsive. I also purchased two extra sets of headphones which connected immediately. I found a local car audio shop to install for just $125 meaning I'm at about $350 all in which is a quarter of the dealer price.

Boss vs. TView -- Boss has a magnetic latch which is great.

I wanted to chime in real quick because I know alot of people out there might be confused about these drop down DVD players. They all seem identical when you read the reviews. I can give one big reason to purchase this Boss over the TView (I can't remember the exact TView model, but since its a structural issue, I have a feeling they are all the same). The Boss has a magnetic latch and the TView has a locking-spring loaded kind of latch. Since the Boss latches via a magnet, there is literally no latch to break, it just sticks up there--tightly too. The TView we had in our other car was nice, but it felt more flimsy and the latch started to stick after about a year. We'd be driving down the road and it would just pop open. As far as the Boss, the dome lights are nice and bright--you can turn them on or off via a switch on the front panel. When we had it installed, they set it up to come on when the door is opened. You can turn them off via the switch on the unit...

Awesome DVD players

I bought this roof mounted DVD player for my wife 2012 Toyota Sienna roughly about a month ago, I got it installed by a local audio shop, the cost $145.00. Best buy wanted $200.00 plus shop supplies and taxes (NOT). My 3 children loves it, i have to say this was a great purchase for the family vehicle. So far so good....... Update It has been almost 2 years since i bought this DVD player and it stopped working 2 weeks ago, audio but no video.
