California Prop 65 Warning

What is Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.

There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.

Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?

The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").

Great for UTVs

I installed this under the hood in a Honda Pioneer 1000, connected to four Boss MRTW40 4" speakers. Sounds good and is loud enough to hear while going down the road. Unit is easy to wire, just like a normal car stereo deck and the wired remote can be flush mounted or surface mounted.

Overall, I'm very, very happy with my purchase!

I was able to effortlessly connect my Samsung Note 4 Android phone to it and hear all of the audio from my phone: taps on screen, text msg tones, ringtone, Google Maps Voice-guided Nav, Spotify, etc. It will soon be tested with a Windows 8.1 Pro PC with an ASUS BT 400 dongle. If I'm able to update my review at a later time, I will let you all know how that worked out too. With this amp's lack of an built-in equalizer (mentioned as EQ going forward), you will need to have an EQ on the device you're broadcasting audio from (BT, 3.5mm, etc). Android appears to have an equalizer built in (at least on the newer versions, I'm running 5.1.x), however I probably didn't look hard enough to find the user interface where I could control and manipulate the EQ. So I jumped on the Play App Store and found a few options, some free, some paid to remove ads. I initially downloaded "Equalizer FX (Free)" to see if it worked - it did, very nicely too I might add. Please note: you will...

Great small system for my Waverunner install.

When brainstorming to add a stereo to my Yamaha Waveventure PWC, I came across this system and it seemed to fit my needs and the size of where I intended to put it. I wanted a way to listen to some music when floating or beached and didn't want to permanently modify my ski. So I installed this complete system in a spare front storage compartment. I'm also adding 2 3.5" speakers into a set of spare mirror housings. The system itself is small, light, and came with everything and seems to be well made, I'll update after use for some time and see how it holds up. For the price, I don't expect it to last forever. I tested it hooked to a YB14 series battery which is smaller than the one in my ski. I didn't hook up an ammeter, but this seems to draw very little power. I ran it on the bench via Bluetooth from my phone for 3 hours. Battery still showed 12.7 volts and charger said battery was still 95% capacity after the test. Battery drain being a concern, I'm very happy with...
