It wont let me connect to my bluetooth. Itll connect for 10-15 minutes then it will completely stop playing anything from my phone and anyone else... I love the radio but the main reason I bought it, doesnt work on mine and when I called for support i was told to reconnect it and of course it reconnected and they said it was fine but 10 minutes later it disconnected. It happens with every phone I've tried to use.
I've always liked boss audio because they make affordable and good quality stereos for cars and marine which I'm a boat mechanic. I had it installed in a couple hours only because I had to remove some plastic from behind the head unit so it would fit in my Buick. Love the themes and user interface. Thank you Boss Audio for staying consistent.
Good product. Listening to songs movies navigation etc.
The bad: Sound sound terrible especially using the EQ settings. My woofers sound distorted using this radio. Before using the stock Kia stereo, the sounds were good. Back up camera has lots of interference. Looks like waves coming thru camera video. Also missing are the color bars telling you how far away you are from things when you back up. You know you bought a lemon radio when AM stations sound clearer than FM stations! I paid $170 for this radio at Pep Boys. I may buy a JVC or Pioneer from the place that installed my stereo. The JVC and Pionerr systems do have navigation that has saferty back up lines! If Boss could provide back up lines on the rear camera over a software upgrade. I would give this radio 4 stars! I kind of regret buying this Boss car Stereo system. There are so many others out there so much better! Update:11/18/2018. I am updating my review previous of 3 stars now down to 1 star! I tried using the navigation on this radio, which is really why I bought this one in the first. I cannot even program a address in the system. The unit cannot find any local zip codes or addresses! So in short, this radio is worthless for navigation! DO NOT BUY, STAY AWAY! I will submit photos to prove my review in the next day or two!
