California Prop 65 Warning

What is Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.

There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.

Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?

The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").

Power

I have this in my travel trailer with 2 jbl1000s and I found out that if you don't have enough amperage it doesn't hit at full power it uses what it gets. That being said my other 2 amps the boss r1004 amp and my pioneer gm-a5602 when they don't have enough power they shut off for a couple seconds. I have 2 deep cycle 6volt house batteries in series for 12 volt with a ps-2013 v02 20volt Max capacitor and I forced my trailer door open with this amp with a car charger hooked up to the batteries.

excellent.. but no where near 3000 watts lol

This is a great amp for the price... pushes around 650 to 750 true and clean fantastic watts for about 30 mins without a fan... spend another 20 to 40 bucks for a fan on this amp... its worth it.. pair this with a pair of Pioneer Ts-w3003d4 12" 2,000-watt Champion Series pro Sub-woofer and be done with it and be very happy, it will be the best bang for the buck and bass you will get.. jus get a fair size fan... or spend around 200 bucks for a better amp... or try some soundqubed subs.. im gonna try it out on a single 15in SoundQubed HDS215-D2 600W RMS in my house lol... i have high hopes... wish me luck and good luck to you guys!! note* this amp works great on a pc power power supply of 650-700 watts.. got mine on a Bd&a Power AK 680Watts... took one star off for dishonest watt claims.... althoe for the price its a wonderful amp!

great budget amp

my buddy has this powering (pushing ) two Orion Cobalt12's and they sound decent. It gets a bit warm , so he installed a small computer fan to move more air. gain is set to 1/4-1/2 and bass boost is off, filter is on and works fine. Ill be getting one when my amp dies, which will be soon. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to power on a budget. If you can afford it, go with rockford or kenwood amps for good quality, they push rated rms power. dont forget audiopipe APCL and rockville M series amps, they also put out over rated power at a good price. this amp maybe putting out 400-500 watts at 2ohm load. this amp does get hot and may shut down. so make sure you have plenty of airflow if you need upto 500 watts rms then this will work for you. dont expect this amp to push anything over 500 on its beast day..

Great amp!

This thing makes my 2 10's SLAM! Have them bridged to 4 ohms and it rocks the neighborhood! And the knob is pretty convenient as well. Buy this amp. Just make sure you wire your subs and the amp properly. You won't be disappointed!
